In an act of unprecedented kindness and good taste, Robert Downey Jr. wore the Superunkown for a recent bit of press…it is now quite clear that the Superuknown was made for RDJ and vice versa…we wish Robert the best of success in his pending projects and his resurgence in film.

Initium would also like to remind opticcult members that the RDJ classic flick Less Than Zero is one of the best movies ever made and Glenn Danzig wrote the title track for the movie…any movie track that couples apocalyptic-Elvis pipes with heavy tamborine is a winner in our book.

The World Tour landed this month and we shipped EVERY LAST FRIGGIN ONE of the first batch in the first 3 weeks…they are now out and about on the shelves of your favorite stockists…they disappear from our warehouse so quickly we suspect this model may suffer from serious wanderlust and commitment issues.

There’s a young lady in our office who really liked these…she tried to “borrow” my prototype before we launched production…not cool…it turns out there are a lot of young ladies in other offices that like them, too.

We have a few new Rx surprises in the pipeline…look for these models going LIVE at an optician near you sometime in August!
